It struck me how many people died in Satan's attempt to make Job curse God. Not only his 10 children, but potentially 100s of servants and workers died. Their lives were important to God, and Satan treated them as nothing in an attempt to make Job sin. Think of the tears shed by hundreds in mourning from an attempt to destroy one man. Wow!
So, we have to wonder what he might do to get to us? Attacking the people we love and anything else is fair game for him. He knows what he's doing, and he is ruthless. Our defense is to stay in God's word and daily prayer. The Holy Spirit is our shield- He does not leave us to fight alone. God is in love with you!
